Big John
A Belgian gelding aged 23 years. This horse is rapidly becoming a favorite with everybody. He is not as big as an average Belgian and that makes him perfect for therapeutic riding. He can carry a full-size adult easily but it is not impossible to sidewalk with him and even thigh-hold.
Big John has a wonderful, generous disposition and is happy to work. His riders respond to him in a special way. Big John seems to understand that there is more to being big than being tough. He is strong but gentle and that makes him a wonderful therapy horse.
