Letters from Parents!
Kyle is 23 years of age, he is an amazing young man that has stepped up to his challenges. When he rides a horse, he has a big smile, he listens, he takes care of his horse, he has faith in his volunteers to see and to tell him what is ahead, as he is blind, he loves the movement and the physical exercise and responsibility of doing a fine job. Kyle feels his way thru a ride and gains strength for himself.
This area of MO is lucky is have a therapeutic horseback riding program for people of all ages that would love to experience a horse ride. If you have loved watching a horse move and have loved the experience of riding a horse, you would know/see that the ride is an importand part of his life.
He loves the competition of a horse show. He loves knowing he has done something challenging. He loves the friendhship of his horse, volunteers & instructor. Horseback riding has made Kyle a better person.
Kyle is a young man, has a part time job, participates in a day program, loves music and his horse riding. Kyle is blind, has mental retardation/physical limitations and is a 2 time cancer survivor. Kyle graduated from Joplin High School in 2006 and participated in many activities at JHS which have also made him a better person in our community.
I hope that our community will support MAGIC MOMENTS as it makes a difference, is loved and needs our support out of respect for all that they do on a daily basis. A lot of people care and want this Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program to continue and we all need your assistance. Please, help this program to continue to make a difference in many lives.
Thanks very much and come out and see the folks ride, it is truly a MAGIC MOMENT. You will be amazed at the experience!!!
Happy Trails.
